It has been another week of progress. I have lost another 4 pounds bringing me down to 317. I don’t remember the last time I was under 320. It has been a rough week. I am still trying to find a job and the desire to eat to deal with the stress is a constant fight all day every day. I am totally happy with how things are going.
When asking for some tips and ideas, water came up above anything else. Water is great. Fairly cheap, unless you are buying Fuji or Voss. No calories. No fat. No sugar. It fills you up. I have been drinking more and more water. This week I only drank half of a soda and didn’t even like it.
Drink water all day. This seemed to be a problem at first because drinking bottled water is expensive and the water that comes out of the refrigerator isn’t always cold. I came up with a solution. I keep a glass of water in the refrigerator. I measured it out and it is a 20 oz. glass. Every time I go to the refrigerator to look for something to eat, I drink the water. If I am still hungry, I grab something to eat. If I can’t finish the water, I refill it and put it back.
Based upon research, I have learned that I should be drinking between 200 and 220 oz of water every day. That is a lot of water. It is over 1.5 gallons of water a day. I don’t know if I have made it to that point, but I am getting closer.
Ask for Help
This last week, I chose to ask for ideas from friends. I received so many suggestions and tips that I am still going through them to see which ones can be incorporated. People are more than willing to help and support, you just need to ask.
